I’ve never been particularly good at staying in one lane.

I’ve worked in food, real estate, aviation, technology and hospitality. I’ve built apps, renovated houses, organized dinners and events, designed systems, made art, started businesses, traveled the world and spent an unreasonable amount of time thinking about what makes a room, a meal or an experience feel right.

For a long time, all of that felt a little disconnected.

It makes more sense to me now.

I like to make things. I like to solve problems. I notice details. I’m endlessly curious about how things work and how they could work better. Whether I’m working on a piece of software, dinner, a business, a house or a party, I tend to approach it the same way: see the whole thing, find what’s missing and make it better.

I’m equally interested in the beautiful and the useful. Food and technology. Art and systems. A beautifully set table and the logistics required to get dinner onto it.

This site is a place for all of those things to live together.

I’m Sarah. I’m still figuring out exactly what I’m making here, which, frankly, is part of the fun.
